This Filo di Scozia Jersey Sky blue vintage, taken from Santillo’s historic archives, is inspired to one of most strongest Italian tennis player, icon of the dandy. The idea is to bring back the 60’s and 70’s by wearing the garment that best suits the any season.
It present a particular one piece collar totally empty: the model derives from formal cutaway, with collar band and leaf melted in a unique piece, fairly lowed to allow a perfect proportion with or without blazer, enhancing the comfort of the men who wear it and keeping its sophisticated forms.
Moreover this garment shows a peculiar chest patch pocket and precious Australian mother-of-pearl buttons.
This hand-cut shirt has a peculiar detail: once the sides have been sewn, the restitching of the armhole is realized with the Santillo’s famous “punto a barchetta”, in order to enhance the softness and strenght of the fabric in the most stressed point of the shirt.
