Using processes that are disappearing the result of all this work is an exclusive product matching style with superb professional skills. This garment called CAPO BARBI is realized with a vintage checkered seersucker burgundy/beige viscose from 1978, featured by a comfortable styling whit half placket. Practical and versatile can be worn during all season but is particularly suitable to wear during spring summer under a two piece suite with a tie, comfortably matched with a double pences trouser, or differently with a blue blazer and denim too. A peculiar detail by Santillo is the sleeve stitching, that is not in line with the side seam because the sleeve is sewn only after the side has been closed. This step is unique and can be done only by the skilled hands of expert artisans. The buttons are applied by hand with the “lily stitching” technique. Little hand embroidered hem are applied on the sleeves and front closure placket. Finally, the ironing and the folding are made by hand too
