- In the true respect of Santillo’s tradition values RADICI PATRIMONIO 1970 is the largest research trough the development of the exclusive fabrics realized in special blends and new color, looking for a new concept of gentleman. Using processes that are disappearing the result of all this work is an exclusive product matching style with superb professional skills. This Limited edition piece called Lacedelli is crafted with Flannel of pure cotton dating back to 1980 , proposed in this mix colors version to exalt the brightness of this precious yarn combining large check pattern and a dense brushed weave in a second time for give an extremely soft finish. Two flat patch pocket on chest, one piece collar total empty featured this cult taken from by our archives, inspired to old Italian climbers, perfect during cold days out of city to wear over a shirt with a double pence corduroy trouser. Once the sides have been sewn, the restitching of the armhole is realized with Santillo’s famous “punto a barchetta”, in order to enhance the softness and strength of the fabric in the most stressed point of the shirt. A peculiar detail by Santillo is the sleeve stitching, that is not in line with the side seam because the sleeve is sewn only after the side has been closed. This step is unique and can be done only by the skilled hands of expert artisans. Finally, the ironing and the folding are made by hand too. The bone buttons are applied by hand with the “lily stitching” technique.

The cut executed with scissors individually on each garment, the topstitching handmade with our exclusive the “barchetta” point, buttonholes sewn by hand with the joists at the end of the slot, the Australian pearl buttons strictly 4mm applied by hand with “lily stitching”.
